• “I put on my bikini any chance I get. Yes I do. I sure do. This flag means great freedom, the wonderful place that we live in and the simple fact of being an American in the United States. It is very important to me. I would never move outside of the United States because I love the way that our world is, and just the simple fact that we have the freedom to do just about anything we want. I’m all about freedom.”
“I got a call from The Everglades Bike Club last week asking if I could meet them here at ‘The Southernmost Point’ at 3.45pm. They have cycled over seven hours from Miami and wanted something fun to mark the occasion. I guess that’s why they asked me to wear a Stars & Stripes bikini and pose for photographs with them next to the buoy. One of the guys asked if he could get a private dance, but I think he was joking.”
“Its not my usual gig – I’m a table dancer, but the guy on the phone seemed real sweet and I figured it’d be fun. And it sure has been fun - the tourists don’t know what’s going on! Some taking photos, some of them laughing, and I saw one who didn’t look too happy at what she was seeing. But hey, this is Key West and this ain’t nothing! Anyway, like the female cyclist said to me, ever since we started pledging our allegiance to the flag at school, we have been patriotic.”
